Deanston, a Highland distillery, is known for its clean, fruity, and subtly waxy spirit with notes of malt sweetness, orchard fruits, honey, and vanilla, carried on a smooth, slightly oily texture. Maturation in a bourbon barrel layers in classic American oak influences - vanilla, caramel, coconut, and gentle sweetness - while softening the edges of the spirit. After 11 years, the whisky shows a fine balance: enough oak spice and structure from the cask, yet still vibrant with the distillery’s natural fruit and malt character.
